Lyrae Cursorius is a mid-30s, retired intelligence officer for the Chapterhouse of Inquisition.

Born within the Sekh system, on Abel Market station, she took to silently watching the different cultures and ships that contributed to the terraforming of Sekh A 6.

Though she had a knack for "network security testing" during her teenage years, the 20th birthday gift of a worn out Python-class ship opened up the entire galaxy to her curiosities.

After becoming intimately familiar with the spectrum of mannerisms and preferences between people, she joined the Chapterhouse of Inquisition in an effort to tend to the economic and social gardens of the Empire.

Calling upon old security habits and skills she was moved to the intelligence division of the Chapterhouse where, just as in her childhood, she silently watched and listened. This listening and watching led her to the emergency comms of an Imperial citizen in distress, known as Kahina Tijani Loren. From there, her history melted into the grimoire: Children of Raxxla.

She now fulfills the role of an intelligence operative within the Children, investing much of her time into reconnaissance, monitoring distant regions of interest, securing information access from the Pilot's Federation databases, guiding external groups with crafted information, and as a diplomatic aide between intelligence divisions and CoR.

A dragon of information, her drive appears to be keeping humanity honest with itself by ensuring that accurate, complete data is the weapon of the people.

Medical anomaly: For undisclosed reasons, the vocal folds of her throat have been removed and a cybernetic replacement installed. Though the baseline tone is still that of a female, there is an unmistakable sound of synthesis that adds to curb the emotional extremes of her voice. The degree of synthesis, as well as the pitch and speed, appear to be controllable from a neutral-link implant.
