Born to a lifelong soldier and devoted wife, named in accordance with his mother's Old Earth East Asian heritage, chose to follow in his father's footsteps as a foot soldier even though he was able to pass his Pilot's Federation License as soon as he was old enough to do so. After completing his military service, he decided he would get himself a good trading ship, the Lakon Type-8, and get away from his old life, but soldiering is in his blood so he travels from system to system doing trade missions and mercenary work with factions that align with his values. He has contemplated going all in with the Alliance, Empire, or Federation, but he is enjoying his freedom and ability to choose his path. His dream is to acquire a fleet carrier and build a fleet that is capable of trade, bounty hunting, salvage, combat and exploration; he truly believes in the saying by the 20th Century Earth martial artist, Bruce Lee, "Don't limit yourself to one style." That is the path he wants to walk from this day forward.
