      [Psychological evaluation RE: Commander Fox, Cassius Alexander]

Commander Fox has been exhibiting signs of stress and overwork, most likely due to his recent appointment to head of public relations in the group "Lavigny's Legion." He has admitted to heavy use of mild stimulants (caffeine) and alcohol. Reports trouble sleeping at night and anxiety, saying quote, "its like a steel cable is being twisted in my chest. Keeps me up at night, and keeps me from doing my work sometimes."

Patient was prescribed anti-anxiety medication. He states that he is taking the medication on schedule, but urinalysis shows that he is not. In light of this, patient has been placed in ongoing psychological evaluation, and is advised to return for regular check ups with a Federation approved psychiatrist. If this is not possible, the patient is to record logs and upload them to his primary psychological care provider in lieu of face to face contact.

Patient also exhibits loss of empathy, especially when questioned about his combat ventures. He has no outward signs of regret or remorse  for deaths he may have directly or indirectly caused, stating that all of his combat excursions were legal and justified, and that anyone he may have killed or allowed to be killed "deserved it." Patient is primarily a combat pilot and is likely suffering from post traumatic stress, but refuses all treatment for the disorder.

Despite these observations, after reviewing the patient's combat logs, it is evident that he operates well within the law; all confirmed hostile kills by the Commander have been on legally posted bounties or through combat bonds issued by Imperial sanctioned factions. All extraneous  deaths caused by the Commander have been deemed accidental by local authorities, and he hold no legal liability for them.

In conclusion, despite some worrying trends, Commander Fox is not deemed a hazard to himself, those around him or any law abiding citizen of the Empire.

[Psychological evaluation RE: Commander Fox, Cassius Alexander]

During the Commander's most recent visit, I noticed a remarkable sense of exhaustion about him characterized by dark circles under his eyes and a demeanor of inattentiveness and indifference. I also observed the presentation of what seems to be a nervous tick; he hooks the pad of his thumb over the nail of his forefinger and flicks forcefully outwards precisely six times. After the final flick, he pauses for 5 seconds before repeating the cycle. The tick manifests itself when the Commander is uncomfortable, pressed for information or experiencing mild to moderate stress. I cannot ascertain the cause of this tick, but I believe it to be a symptom of his post traumatic stress and fragile mental state.

In addition, the Commander's apathy towards others has become more troubling. He no longer shows any remorse for the  lives he has taken and even seems to take a macabre sense of glee in violence towards, what he calls, "enemies of the Emperor."

That being said, it is by belief that the Commander's apathy is either yet another symptom of his post traumatic stress, or some sort of show put on for my benefit, intended to shock me or put me off. That being said, the possibility that Commander Fox truly does not feel remorse for the violence he executes on others must not be discounted.

However, it is my medical opinion, and yes, my hope, that this is not the case. We must do everything in our power to prevent Mr. Fox from falling into the mire of sociopathy. Lord knows there are enough of them in the galaxy.
