Commander Sapphire. (Danica Fox) hails from the Vequess system. From a young age she developed a sense of wanderlust - always wanting to explore the galaxy, and dreaming of ultimately living some place far, far away.

Her family moved to the Facece system when her brother David won a scholarship to attend Finney's Inheritance, and a chance encounter with a traveller visiting the settlement led to Danica being offered a position as crew aboard a Fleet Carrier that was resting in orbit to collect Tritium before heading for Colonia.

Sensing her chance to get away and make a name for herself, Danica pounced on the opportunity, packed her bags, and headed (literally) for the stars.

As much as she loves her siblings, she is very happy with her life in Colonia, and has taken to charting the stars at her own pace, far away from the Bubble.
