CMDR Marshall Cochrane is a young, aspiring explorer from the prosperous System of Barathaona. Growing up as a farmer, Marshall quickly knew he wanted to fly amongst the stars. At the meager age of 18, Marshall began his work as a trader, flipping high value silver at high profits and beginning to build a small fortune. Wanting to continue to advance in his line of work, Marshall travelled to the system of Mainani, far outisde the bubble, to take advantage of the large amount of work to be done for the Imperial factions in control in the area. Marshall quickly climbed the ranks of the Empire, eventually reaching the position of Rear Admiral and being granted to the most prestigious trading ship in the bubble, the Imperial Cutter. Marshall knew how to take advantage of the ships large internal capacity, and quite soon after reached elite status in his trading endeavors, granting him access to the illustrious Shinrarta Dezhra. From there, Marshall, now 22, decided to begin a journey that would change his life forever. Marshall would travel to the farthest point in the galaxy at Beagle Point. Instead of finding loneliness or dread, Marshall felt an immense freedom and realized the path he wanted his life to take. After returning to the bubble, Marshall traded enough in order to purchase his very own fleet carrier that he could utilize for his exploration ambitions. Now, at the age of 26, and with a fleet of 12 ships to his name, Marshall is venturing out into the black to cement his name in the history books, just as his great ancestor Zefram did before him.
