Destined to be an officer in the Alliance Defence Force like her parents she followed in their footsteps. Never thinking much of what she wanted from life, this was simply the way of things, how it should be. Until that fateful day she inherited an old rusty sidewinder from her grandfather. Using some built up shore leave she toyed with the ship, taking a short trip to LHS 3447 and gaining her pilots federation licence. For the first time in her life people saw her for who she was, not the number of stripes on her uniform. For the first time in her life she found peace, quiet, freedom to forge her own path.

Not looking back she retired her commission from the ADF, and returned to that trusty sidewinder. Soon upgrading to newer and better ships to take on a new life as a mercenary to seek her own fortune, still loyal to the alliance but now free from the duties thrust on her by her parents and the state.
