Born on Mars in 3276, Steven caught a ride on a Type-6 leaving Mars High bound for a backwater station in LHS 3447 called Trevithick Dock. From there he haggled to get a poorly equipped craft of his own, a sidewinder with the most basic modules. He quickly set to work collecting credits, eventually buying a Type-6 of his own and set out to greener pastures. Wu Guinagi was home for a few months as he fought the urge to head out into the black. That urge eventually overtook him and he set out in his trusty Asp Explorer. After a few more months of local exploration, the need for a roomier vessel that could stand the test of deep space exploration. The Anaconda, which he dubbed Odysseus, is what he still loves to return to when setting out. With troubles in the Bubble, Steven sought out a new home, Colonia! Settling down in Mobia in 3303, he has used MCRN space to depart on numerous expeditions.

He has flown with the Mobius Exploration Corps and the Mobius Colonial Republic Navy since 3303.
