Little is known about Tiberius M. Valerian except he was Praetor of Lavigny's Legion for many years. Most legionnaires only know his commander's call sign 'Darth Vater'.

According to few public data, Tiberius Marcus Valerian was raised as the fifth son of an aristocratic and wealthy Empire family on Tujing 4. But apart from his siblings, who enjoyed their lives and inherited fortunes, Tiberius joined the imperial navy as a young man and broke all bridges behind. His family died later during Tujing's system internal conflicts and accidents. So Tiberius was the last one remaining till he became father of a girl and years later of a son.

In various positions, he served the Empire and the Lavigny senator family, mainly as a law enforcement officer and special envoy in diplomatic and combat operations, both covertly and in open combat. His dedication to the Lavigny's family and his commitment to justice and uncovering corruption eventually led him to be recruited into Lavigny's Legion. Tiberius is known for his absolute and ruthless fight against the enemies of the Legion inside and outside the Empire and for his inability to deal with people who do not act honestly or dishonourably.

In his time of leadership, the expansion campaign to seize power over the Nu system and many of the wars in which he fought actively with the Legion troops fell. Namely the war against Ankou Blue Federal Holdings, the civil war against the renegade Legion troops in Narakapani and the Puntin Wars against the Federation. In the campaign "The Hunt for Kahina Tijani Loren" he wanted to reveal the truth behind Salome and stood against many imperial senators and the Federation.

In the course of time he withdrew from any diplomatic engagement or leading a department. Tiberius concentrated then on special missions under the direct command of the Legion Consul, Admiral Lucius Lavigny, the Emperor's second cousin.

In 3306 he finally retired completely from active duty and went back to Tujing to start a new life and to engage for the Tujing Empire Party. Of course he stays aligned to Lavigny's Legion, the Lavigny's family and the Emperor herself to which he served his complete lifetime. If any of them calls for support Tiberius'll follow as an Evocatus.

His daughter Iulia Valerian started her career as an Exobiologist and Explorer on a long travel with her father and her brother, Lavigny's Legion Initiate Darth Sohn.
