Born in 1985, CMDR Dynahi, a QA technician, and his wife Jeng, a software engineer, alongside several others, were selected to take part in a final trial of a cryogenic experiment in a secret lab in Alaska in 2023. The lab had successful previous cryogenic experiments and were designed for future space travel usage. The trial was supposed to last only five months, but were long forgotten due to a deadly incident that happened in the surrounding area that left the lab too dangerous to reach and over time was left forgotten. All the trial participants would remain in cryostasis until the rediscovery of the lab in October of 2089.

Although they were able to find jobs from a from multiple education programs and bore a daughter, both Dynahi and Jeng still found it extremely difficult to cope with the shock of being asleep for decades, outliving their loved ones and adjusting to a post World War 3 environment, Dynahi and Jeng legally changed their names to their current ones, sealed their remaining physical earthly 'treasures' deep in a mausoleum where their loved ones were interred, and sought a fresh start with their daughter on board the Bifrost, a Generation Ship. Unbeknownst to the general public and official records, the goal of the Bifrost was to bring a single generation to its destination (unlike other Generation Ships that would have multiple successive generations aboard) using the same cryogenic technologies that Dynahi and Jeng were a part of. Interestingly enough, the other people selected for the cryogenic trial of 2023 also chose to depart on the Bifrost after suffering similar afflictions. The ship departed the Sol system on September of 2099.

Fast forward to March 3302. CMDR "Bloody Lion" of the IntraGalactic Naval Intelligence Services (I.G.N.I.S.) stumbled upon the Bifrost on a collision course with a star roughly 950 light years from Sol. According to the Bifrost's data logs, there was a navigational error and have completely missed their destination by 800 light years and have kept on sailing into space. Over time, the ship began to experience issues that caused multiple cryogenic pods to fail, killing the occupants inside. By the time Lion had found the Bifrost, less than a quarter of the occupants were still alive in cryogenic stasis. Lion made a tough call and ignored the laws in place in finding a Generation Ship and took a boarding party of Space Combat and Recon (S.C.A.R.) forces on board to start the lengthy process of reviving the remaining active cryogenic pods. The cryogenic pods took around four hours for revival with the approximate time to collision to the star's danger zone being around eleven hours. After revival, the occupants, including Dynahi and his family, of the Bifrost were shocked and disheartened of their current predicament. With time running out, Lion manages to snap them out of their stupor with rousing words of encouragement and promises in a desperate move to get them to evacuate on board his ship. Grabbing what little possessions that they have (such as identification documents and small personal effects), they hastily boarded Lion's ship with roughly six hours to spare as the heat got more intense. From the viewing ports on Lion's ship the survivors witness the destruction of the Bifrost as it began to break apart and disintegrate as it approached the star.

Lion took the survivors to Baker's Prospect in the Asellus Primus system for processing and to be caught up in recent events and to be reeducated in various programs in order to adjust and find work in the current age. While Jeng studied to expand her role as a software engineer by learning the new computer language programs, Dynahi found it difficult to find something to hang onto as a long term career. It wasn't until Lion found him staring blankly out into space and urge Dynahi to try to become a freelance pilot. This set in motion Dynahi's desire to return to Earth in the Sol system, realizing that it was a mistake to leave and that it was their true home and that it should've been their place to rest for eternity. Jeng was also in agreement with this and supported Dynahi's training in becoming a space pilot. Unfortunately, Sol is permit locked and can only be accessed by having the Federation naval rank of Petty Officer, or if you are very wealthy tourist. Despite having documents showing that Dynahi and his family are citizens of Earth, the current laws in place prevent such notions of being recognized. After months of training with an experienced pilot named Blaine, that lead to several business ventures, Dynahi was registered with the Pilot's Federation and Federal Navy in August 3302.
