In 3302 I was working a dead end job as a mechanic. Didn’t have any ambitions or anything, just worked, went home, rinse and repeat.

One day boss is on my ass to fix his POS sidewinder again, for free. So I did. Then took it out for a joy ride. Made a couple jumps, thought about taking it back and saying just wanted to make sure it was working. Instead I hit the next station sold everything on it and bought my own.

Worked odd jobs for a while. Killing pirates and the such was fun enough but I didn’t have anyone to share drinks and stories with.

Was out one day playing protection for a miner and Pieguy1177 showed up in his Fer De Lance, and commenced killing all wanted ships in the area. Me being sauced up and always spoiling for a fight I took pot shot at him. He then proceeded to fire on me and I ran back to the station.

He showed up a little after me and we ended up sharing drinks. He led me to the Fuel Rats and then a year later, Leviathan Scout Regiment.
