Much of Apollonia's personal history is unknown. She does not discuss her past and tends to focus on the present.

Throughout her adult life, Apollonia has been associated with powerful figures; these associations have often take the form of romantic relationships, but with clear dominant and submissive roles to them. The exact nature of these relationships are difficult to define, but it appears that Apollonia is simultaneously a lover, personal assistant, and errand girl for her partners.

After a long-term relationship with the Capo Azalea Constantinestu, she is now attached to Marrakech Morgan, the matriarch of Clan Morgan.

Apollonia is the submissive’s submissive, deriving her personal satisfaction from that of her partner’s. She has been known to commit to the point of altering even her own identity to suit the clinical sociopathy of others, as when she was attached to Azalea. Curiously, she doesn’t seem to experience outward heartbreak after a long-term attachment ends, moving relatively seamlessly to Marra after she was left by Azalea. Whether this is indicative that her “attachment” to others might be a sham or is simply a unique personality trait is impossible to know.

Above all else, Apollonia has learned that to survive in Pegasi, one’s true feelings must often be hidden. Despite this, she seems to possess strong loyalty to whomever she’s with, and has been known to fixate and obsess if she develops a “crush”. For example, she once slept on the deck in front of Azalea Constantinestu’s luxurious habitation unit for nearly a month before the powerful woman deigned to reciprocate her attention. Again, whether this behavior was a reflection of Apollonia’s actual personality or tailored to appeal to Azalea’s extreme narcissism is impossible to say.

In the same vein, she can be either sadistic or tender, as when she was briefly partnered with Matt Lehman while performing wetwork for Marrakech Morgan. She seemed to have no trouble threatening Kyndi’s life to coerce Matt to help Marra, but also divulged a glimpse of her true inner fear to him in their last minutes together.
