Born mid-flight, near Ankaa, on the I.E.V. Spectre Queen, to Explorers, George and Ivara Neolis, circa 3272.

Nova spent most of his childhood years on one expedition after another, learning spacer skills from his parents. Despite a lack of licensing with the pilots federation, he was landing the S.Q. on planetary surfaces by the age of ten, with his mothers tutelage.

He spent most of his teens and twenties working on his parents ship, until he was 24 and an incident with a white dwarf jet cone destroyed the Spectre Queen, killing both his parents, and leaving him drifting in an escape pod.

Eventually he was rescued and spent most of his time bouncing around the bubble, doing odd jobs for micro credits. By 3299 he was working in a divided imperial system as an engineer, during a period of civil unrest. Amidst his comrades were many imperial slaves, several of which he grew close to. Among them were Alea and Jacob Whitney, and Selan, a humanist, and anti-slavery activist. While Nova was an un-enslaved employee, he found himself sympathizing with his friends, especially with the growing concerns of a new, independent, and even more harsh faction growing in influence.

In 3303, a war within the system, lead to an Independent dictatorship overthrowing the imperial faction... After the ashes cleared, the new dictatorship, retained all of the imperial slaves, and removed the possibility of freedom even with debts paid. By now, Selan and allies, had fueled seeds of escape and rebellion, and with the government transition still ongoing, Nova assisted in a take over of an imperial shipyard where several imperial ships were used to emancipate said slaves. During the escape, many were lost, including his then beloved Selan, as well as his best friend Jacob Whitney.

Alea, and Nova completed the Exodus to a modest independent system LFT 820, where Alea was left as the architect and founder of a new faction, The Masterless Accord. Nova was awarded a small stipend of credits, acquired from the scavenging of the imperial ships. Racked with grief and trauma, and recognizing that the new faction would need support, he set his eyes back to the stars.

Purchasing his first sidewinder, Nova, put his younger talents to good use, developing his career as an independent pilot, in an array of fields. Bouncing from courier, to combat pilot, to explorer, and so forth, he developed his fleet of ships. From sidewinder, to eagle, to viper, to vulture, to Type 6, and Asp Explorer, until eventually he earned enough to buy his first Anaconda. The Selan. Performing various tasks for the Federation and Imperial he has become a highly respected pilot on both sides. With his growing fleet, and thanks to the help of other independent pilots, the Masterless Accord grew, and became officially recognized in the galaxy. Soon Architect Alea Whitney commissioned the Ronin of The Twenty Sides, Volunteer Navy of the Masterless Accord, and assigned Nova as it's unifier, and Captain of the flagship, R.C.V. Ronin Star.

Nova and allies have since carried out countless operations, around the galaxy, including training new pilots, and assisting in the Thargoid war.
