There is not much known about Kyrst, he seems to have come onto the galactic scene close to twenty years ago as a cargo pilot out of the Reddot system, where he got his pilot's license. His record is surprisingly clean for someone that operates a long-haul ship and there are not many demerits on his license, in fact there are some systems to indicate that his credentials are only a couple of years old.

Kyrst was born in the Reddot system like his favorite cover would suggest, but he did not spend too much time there before he was shipped off to Imperial basic training to be drafted into the Imperial Military Intelligence Corps, where he would serve for twenty-five years in various roles and divisions until his retirement at the age of 50. He was given full honors and compensation for injuries sustained while in the line of duty and discharged to the system of his choosing with financial compensation enough to set himself up as he pleased. He decided to assume his original persona as a Long Haul Cargo Hauler out of Reddot.
