Franklin was born to parents who were both educators on Sol; and always had an interest in space ships from an early age.  After finding a career in engineering unfulfilling, he turned to narcotics in order to find pleasure in his life.  After a very close call with death by overdose, he had a religious moment which changed his life forever.  After completing successful detox and getting sober, Frank saved his credits until he was able to purchase his own Sidewinder, and then took to the stars under the handle of Dragon_Fire, as the dragon's fire purifies and brings new life.   The rest is history!
