CMDR Wobbadegga was found in a rescue capsule near the Xuangu System by a SAR Team. Since no implanted RFID chip or other objects were found in the escape pod, his true identity and origin are unknown.

The place of discovery, Xuangu, was taken then as the Birth System / Origin.

The name Wobbadegga was given to him by a crew member of the SAR team who first opened the escape pod and saw that he was still alive. According to the origin dialect of the SAR Crew Guy: "Wobba! deg ga" means something like "Madness! The guy is still alive!"

Over the years "Wobba" worked his way up from a simple technician to Officer and at least, he promotes to a Commander.
