Keniah (actually, it's Keniyy-ach) is the daughter of an escaped Imperial slave named Oguro. When Keniah was three, Oguro and Keniah were human cargo in the vessel of an unimportant smuggler. He slipped into Baker Prospect one night, and Oguro was able to make her way out of the cargo hold with her toddler daughter. Unfortunately, Oguro's life as a slave had not been a healthy one, and she soon succumbed to an illness that ravaged her weakened body.

Keniah, a sprightly and waifish little ginger girl learned to make her way by begging, stealing, doing nuisance work, and so on. Short of a little light theft of food to eat, she managed to stay on the right side of the law. In her teens, she managed to wrangle her way onto the crew of a Type-10 called Pufferfish as a ship launched fighter pilot. She wasn't super distinguished, but she held her own enough that, when her twentieth birthday arrived, she was able to secure a Pilot's Federation license and the loan of a Sidewinder.

At first, she made her way with light bounty hunting, data courier missions, and light haulage. She set Bolg as her home system and became allied to the controlling faction there, also rising to Chief Petty Officer in the Federation. She tried committing to Felicia Winters, but the commitment was not her style.

Recently, she has moved to Paolo da Gama Hub in the Inara system. From there, she mounted a short expedition to the Wayfarer's Graveyard, and is currently engaged in a long-range mission to Colonia, then on to Sagittarius A*.
