Eric was born into a peaceful family. His first memories are from the child care services in various stations. His father's breakfasts, and mother's care.
Don D'noire, his father was often away, dealing with his business. His mother, Aian Ubek D'noire on the other hand, was working with a medicine corporation.
So as a kid, his natural playground was either a lab on a distant moon, secretaries' offices, shipyards, the C-7 seat of Bellugas and his favorite, his room in his father's Anaconda class ship Fort Granade.

When he was 10 years old, his parents left for an expedition. He knew that they were going to check the old Generation Ships to gather some data. They didn't return.

A problematic youth and several failed business attempt later, he found himself on the pilot seat of various ships. He never cared about a name, fame, riches, or anything particular. He just wanted to see, more of the universe.

Eric took the name Panda after he met with Amanda Moonrise, an officer in Bava. Never used his real name after that.
