Greetings, CMDR o7 . CMDR Ashirah here, fresh from flight school. I was a social worker before this, working in a slum city. My job was to educate and mentor under served youths on the usage of techology, in hopes that these skills will break them out of the poverty cycle. You won't believe how many illiterate youngsters are out there! Of course, being passionate about technology, it was a matter of time before I sold everything and signed up for flight school with only the clothes on my back. Oh, was I prepared to see the stars for myself. From where I was from, we heard little of the going-on beyond the Sol system. The news, the politics, the war everything was new to me. Heck, I even heard murmurs of aliens!

The world just opened up to me once I was finally licensed to fly in December. My first stint around space was as a passenger carrier. I flew droves of tourists and refugees to Smeaton Orbital from different places. They paid extremely well & I couldn't say no. As I slowly build up my pool of credits, I started looking for better ships. The Federation opened up their line of ships for sale to civilians for a short while & I nabbed myself a Federal Dropship. Honestly though, the Federation looks like a fine much, a democratic government like the ones we have on Earth, but darn, does the Empire have some good fashion sense, and great ships even!

However, as I was finalizing my purchase on Collins Station, another ship caught my eyes, a Python. The sales guy told me I wouldn't want that ship, since it was a display unit & an older model even. I shrugged it off and proceeded with my purchase of the FDS. But I never forgotten that ship. A few weeks more of passenger flying, and I found myself in an odd situation, the pay was getting a lot less now. Tourists and refugees weren't paying as much as they used to anymore.

That was my cue to seek for other endeavors. That Python surfaced in my mind again, and I knew I had to purchase her. Went back to Collins Station & told the sales person I want that ship no matter what. Oh, the look on his face at that time.

I christened my Python, the Starlight Glimmer. She has been serving me well until now. I've found out about certain specialists that could push her even further in terms of performance, and am currently pursuing leads to contact them.
