Description
My favourite ship, an interceptor that can take on opponents of any size after yanking them out of supercruise. It used to do well in combat zones, but runs out of ammo too quickly since the rules of engagement changed toward the end of 3304. It used to be a much heavier ship but as my skills improved I felt the need for more speed to take on Eagles and other Vipers. It could be even faster, but I black out on full four-pip boost turns so the advantage of more speed is limited.

I've tried various hull busting weapons before settling on the plasma accelerators. Gimballed multicannons were better against other fast fighters but only if they didn't use chaff. Focussed pulse was a little easier to aim but suffered too much from thermal resistance. Inertial impact burst lasers were superb against large ships but weak against both small and medium due to the huge jitter. Cannons just do less damage, the absolute damage of plasma is hard to give up.

A kill warrant scanner would be nice, but the actual boost to profits when policing supercruise in a system seems small.
