Description
The Nero patrolled the black for the Alliance Navy as "ANV-268A", a System Patrol Craft and Light Interceptor. Upon retiring from active service in 3293, her pilot was shocked to discover that she was to be decommissioned and scrapped for parts. After cashing in an equal number of credits and favors to the Alliance Navy Logistics Office, her former pilot purchased the ship, registered with the Pilots Federation, and set out in the Nero to establish himself as an Independent Contractor.

The Nero is now extensively modified and serves as a rapid response craft for MARSPACE Services INC.
