Ship details

A recent addition to my personal Fleet, the Type-9 was intended to be used for transportation missions; I had previously used an Anaconda and a Federal Corvette (optimised more effectively with a Guardian FSD Booster, the FDC can be quite good for cargo missions with an impressive cargo capacity in excess of 500t~).

This was my second purchase of a Type-9 Heavy and, unfortunately, the ship failed me on both occasions. How a ship can fail at its intended purpose remains a mystery to me; even while running near-maximum cargo capacity - with slots left open for essential survivability tools such as SCB's and a Fighter Hanger - the ship failed to survive an interdiction against an Anaconda. Even a fighter deployment was not sufficient enough of a distraction.

Feeling much more comfortable with using a Corvette/Anaconda as a reliable method of delivering almost as much cargo, I can safely say that the Type-9 Heavy was not long for this world in my Fleet.
