The name is passed along from each bounty hunting vessel which is my primary. The name is earned from the Texas Sheriff Buford T. Justice which was given the nickname of "Smokey" on his chase through multiple states of the trucker Cledus Snow, or "Snowman" who was offered $80,000 in 20th century currency, documented in the legendary documentary "Smokey and the Bandit"
