The Alliance Navy vessel LION BRIGHT is a Hunter-Killer craft originally commissioned and built in 3304 to combat the Thargoid threat. Instead of being delivered to the Pleiades as originally planned, a small contingent of these craft were purchased and diverted to the Sirius Corporation in Lembava for use in combat training for Sirius pilots. This particular ship was awarded to CMDR Hirai and his fellow graduates from the Sirius Corporation Pilots Academy as a personal ship for services rendered. This particular series of ships are sometimes seen in Pleiade, Alliance, and Independent space and are often erroneously identified as official Alliance naval vessels, incidents which have drawn criticism from local Alliance administrators.
