The Imperial Courier CHOMA was purchased from Gutamaya by a lesser Imperial noble and used to transport Imperial slaves to his personal ship, an Imperial Clipper, for his own pleasures. Upon an internal Imperial investigation, these activities were found to be illegal by the Imperial Slavery Association. As a result, the noble was stripped of his titles, properties, and wealth and was enslaved himself. Ownership of the CHOMA was then transferred to CMDR Hirai in appreciation for his cooperation with Imperial authorities and as payment for transporting the affected slaves out of system.
