Ship details

The Middle Path was laid down in 3218 at the Faulcon de Lacy shipyards near Sol. It saw service as a consigned light corvette performing shipping escort within Federation systems for nearly 30 years. In 3236, it was involved in major action against a terrorist faction and became a civilian lifeboat after a merchant station was left adrift after being raided. The Middle Path was heavily damaged during the exchange and was nearly scrapped following the event. It was mothballed and placed in a recycler's storage yard

After being rebuilt and retrofitted, Commander Gregory Umwars of the Pilots Federation purchased The Middle Path and set to work outfitting the vessel for mining service. After many highly lucrative runs as a mining barge, the ship was outfitted again for its current role as a rescue/salvage operator.

The Middle Path is currently returning from a 44,000 LY mission on behalf of the Federation's investigative bureau.
