Described as his "flying sex wagon," GI Joey purchased The Yeti's Revenge as a luxury vehicle while working for the Empire in Wu Guinagi in September of 3302, as a more elegant alternative to the Folly for throwing parties with the upper crust of the Empire. One historian quoted him as saying "I had no use for it other than to have it, so why the fuck not?" It was aboard the Wave that GI Joey famously courted Ariana Moorehead-Duval, cousin to the Princess Aisling, who was primarily known for her poor taste in male companionship, her influence with the Lords of the Darkstar Imperium, and a striking likeness to her more well-known cousin, albeit with red hair and eyes. Ariana recalled her time on the Wave with glee, saying that "her commander was a beautiful as the ship; and as deadly, the scoundrel," in her memoir "The Lesser-Known Egalitarian Minx of the Duval Empire." The courtship ended with a Dukedom for the rogue pilot, and a place in the Imperial High Court that GI Joey would later risk- and nearly lose- for the lure of chasing enough Federal rank to fly his own Corvette.
