The KODACHI build takes its name from traditionally made short swords of the Japanese. The Kodachi was a companion short sword.

The Kodachi build has been optimised for general purpose use.
The ability to easily swap out some of its internal modules to favour cargo storage or range it provides a lot of modularity and can be ideally equiped to favour long-range operations such as distant planetary prospecting or serve as a long range courier it is also ideal for local area scavanging / scanning of signal sources & FS wake scanning.
Dispite being an exploration vessle the current loadout is equipped with full military grade shields and weapons arsenal, it is therfore also highly capable of light to medium combat / defense tasks.
