The CHOKUTÓ build derived from the straight, one-edged Japenese sword from the 10th Century. Although eclipsed by superior blades of the era these blades were very effective for their purpose when used on foot for stabbing or slashing

The Chokuto, is eclipsed by better AX builds. Intended for scount hunting only, its current fit out is not capable of large-scale AX Operations, nor one-on-one Interceptor engagement, but rather aims at providing more than adequate firepower to elimnate Thargoid Scout threats and to provide broader systemwide support in AX campaigns.
