Impression & Roles:
The Guardian Trident fighter is a versatile craft, perfectly equipped for fighting smaller targets, like vipers, cobras, vultures etc. The weapon, a fully-automated plasma cannon, can fire very directly with high damage impact, especially on shields and the fast pitch rate allow multiple shots without overheating.
This fighter-type is the most used figher in all my ships, 'cause fighter carriers are usually "slower" in turnrates and smaller opponents are more annoying to shields. The Trident counters this "weakness" and provide more cover to its own carrier.
