Named in remembrance of the famous 82nd Airborne Div. small combat action during a parachute operation into France during WW2. One US paratrooper had his parachute snagged by the town of Sainte Mere-Eglise's church steeple (they still have a memorial parachute on the roof today). The battle was hotly contested and it was the first successful liberation of a French Town from the Nazis by US forces.
SpaceCraft is named after the famous Pacific theater of WW 2 carrier-based fighter the tough-as-nails Grumman F6F Hellcat. It battled head to head with Japan's famous & highly-touted "Zero" aircraft and destroyed at least 5250 enemy aircraft--more than any other Allied aircraft of WW2.
