Description
The Diamondback Explorer...it is a strange ship. I own a Python, Kraith, Mamba, a Type 10, even a Cutter - yet, most of the time I find myself flying a DBX. The Lady of Aros III brought me to Colonia, the Skia brought me deep into the Black, to the core and further out - and back again. In a DBX I first docked at Jameson Memorial, in a DBX I first set down at ancient guardian ruins, in a DBX I met my first Thargoid Interceptor - and its resilient hull kept me alive long enough to charge the FSD...
The Lady of Aros IV is the result of many experiments, mistakes and experiences in the cockpit of a DBX. Mainly made for surface operations, her loadout is playing to the strengths of the ship type as far as possible, keeping her cold, tough and still as light as possible. Not that this would make her a combat ship, but flown right she is surely no easy prey...
