Ship details

The Sacrifice is the most recent continuation of the odd D-Class series of ships, designed as support ships that can assist in combat whilst being somewhat combat capable in itself. Most of the features found on Martyr have been doubled down on with the bigger, but younger, brother of the series, as it features twice the shield repairing capabilities, double the torpedoes and an increased armament of shock cannons and cytoscramblers. Its drawbacks are its poor maneuverability and speed, alongside its large profile and it's just above average jump range, making it particularly vulnerable when alone. This is vulnerability is partially rectified by being able to deploy a fighter, which not only draws fire away from the Sacrifice, but also provides additional damage.
