Acquired and outfitted as a response to the rising Thargoid threat, the AX Insected is a force to be reckoned with. While it might not pose much of a risk to pirates and other ne'er-do-wells, the Guardian Gauss Cannons paired with a Remote Release Flak Launcher is plenty enough firepower to send any Thargoid running with their tail tucked firmly between their legs.

If they even have tails. Or legs.

CMDR Astraea Astralis named the ship after one of her favorite classical compositions, made by a musical duo from ancient earth times called "Future Sound of London". Nobody has yet confirmed whether or not this truly was the sound of London.
