Being first bought and fit to act as an escort for the Christmas Colonia Convoy, in December 3302, the Star Dweller has been fit for long distance operations. Being able to carry a decent amount of cargo and packing enough punch to fight off many enemies, it has participated in many operations. This includes cargo transport in dangerous areas, escort of traders and science vessels as well as protecting points of interest. It has also been seen rushing to the rescue of stranded commanders and protecting areas of scientific interest from assassins and terrorists.

The Star Dwealler was repurposed shortly after the Thargoid Attacks started in the Pleiades Nebula, where it played the role of heavy combat duty, research and rescue vessel against the aliens.

Nowadays, this role has been covered by the Krait II "Ash trail" and the Star Dwealler has found a new role as miner. However, with a few module changes she may be back into action at a moments notice.
