The Gypsy Queen enters service as the fleet's first dedicated mining vessel. Although he often regarded such pursuits with disdain, Meridius Dex has been well encouraged by those he admires to build a dedicated vessel for just such a task.

Fitted for both laser and subsurface core mining, the Queen will seek out valuable minerals in lonely, out-of-the-way places to further enhance the commander's wealth. She has also found a second life as an emergency evacuation vessel for civilian transport off damaged space stations.
