SCG Glacier Point is named for a granite prominence in Yosemite that is known for some of the most striking northeast-facing views of the entire valley as well as being home of the famous Yosemite Firefall for many years. In addition, from 1918-1969 it was the location of the Glacier Point Hotel, a striking place to stay in an even more beautiful location. While the original hotel burnt down millennia ago, its spirit of taste and exploration lives in the Imperial Clipper that today bears its name. All at once rugged and determined while being refined and graceful.
