Ship details

A deep space exploration ship that has traveled many 100,000 light years and CMDR Mace Andarion's most used ship. With the 'Dark Magellan' he combines pride and pain in equal measure. It can also be said that the ship suffered with him.

In 3304, CMDR Mace Andarion traveled the 'Magellan' into the Formedine Rift to investigate the ghost ship 'Zurara'.
By this time the 'Magellan' had already sailed as far as Sagittarius A* and also to Colonia. So she was already experienced. With her bright white livery, the 'Magellan' should shine in the darkest corners of the galaxy.
After an "incident" in the Rift, she returned to the core worlds as 'Dark Magellan'. She was no longer the bright light that was supposed to illuminate the darkness. She became the same black she had traveled. She became the pure blackness herself. The darkest places in the galaxy are now her preferred terrain. She still bears some "scars" from the Formidine Rift incident today, just as well as CMDR Mace Andarion.
