Named for the blade of Mordred the Betrayer, this ship's small size betrays its surprising combat capability. With large weapons at both hardpoints, one an engineered thermal vent laser and the other a corrosive multi-cannon, Clarent is a powerful combat ship crammed into a surprisingly compact package. With maneuverability that outclasses all larger ships and weaponry that is comparable to them, Clarent is always ready for deployment against pirate elements or as a fast interceptor to harass larger vessels.
