Description
The Wayward Son is a mysterious ship. No one is quite sure how Frynge acquired it or how it performs as well as it does, despite its advanced age and disrepair. This is still the ship he uses to go out on his hunts for Raxxla, however.

In combat it displays good maneuverability, top speed, and durability. The railguns let it punch above its weight class. It also seems to be capable of very long frame shift jumps, beyond what one would expect from a ship of its class.

Rumours say that most of the advanced technology used by GridJumper Industries might be based on this ship. This might be why it has the ID of "GridJumper Industries Beta 1"
