Where most ships modified by GJI would be considered a scalpel, the Albatross Experiment serial #357 would be a sledgehammer.

While heavily modified, it's the simplest and least advanced design in the fleet. That aside, it's also one of the most effective and deadly. Capable of going toe to toe with anacondas and coming out of the scrap with barely a scratch when handled by a skilled pilot, the ship's heavy shielding and quick maneuvering give it an edge against much larger ships. The weapons are designed to hit as hard and fast as possible at a cost of poor accuracy.

The shields are so strong that the ship is commonly used to ram unshielded targets at top speed in order to deal huge amounts of damage without much consequence.
