Role
Bubble Jumper/Exobiology
This ship was bought with exobiology in mind. I was previously using Starjumper, my Asp Explorer, but after a very close call with a planet’s surface, I wanted something smaller, more nimble, and with a jump range that, at the very least, matched my AspX. The Diamondback Explorer has not disappointed in that regard, never letting me down even on the most difficult landings. Because its jump range actually exceeds that of my AspX, it very quickly became my primary bubble jumping ship. I also use it to scout systems that I haven’t been to before jumping my carrier to them.
