The USS Repulse NCC254 was a 24th century Federation Excelsior-class starship operated by Federation Starfleet.

In stardate 2364 and 65, Captain Taggert was the commanding officer of the Repulse. Medical officer Katherine Pulaski served aboard this vessel before she was transported by shuttlecraft D'Alison (Repulse shuttlecraft 10) to her new assignment, the USS Enterprise NCC170 in 2365.

Captain Taggert valued Pulaski as an officer, despite her idiosyncratic preference to shuttles instead of matter-energy transportation. Taggert told Captain Picard that there were no recent records of her using a transporter, since over a year previous.

In stardate 2367, the Repulse was on a deep space exploration mission in Sector 22036. The ship was named on the chart "Federation Starfleet Operations-Sectors 21166-23079" on the Enterprise's bridge.

The current stardate is 3310 and the USS Repulse is still being used, for exploring deep space and trading materials and other shipments from station to station, system to system. Its reputation still exceeds and is one of the more well known Federation Starships, especially after its re-model to make it look more efficient in todays Federation Starfleet Starship accord, it was certainly "the talk of the town" as humans would say as an expression back on Earth in the early 21st Century.
