The Asp Explorer S-43 "Valmiki" (formerly INSC Valmiki) with the distinctive red hull has earned its place in the Indigo Nightfall fleet as a trusted vessel for all Material Farming needs. Equipped for medium-distance journeys, the Valmiki frequently ventures into reaches of human charted spaces to salvage Raw materials, Manufactured and Encoded materials for regular fleet upgrades.

The Valmiki has a medium jump range of 45LYs and is outfitted with the essentials for salvaging and procurement. A G5-engineered Frame Shift Drive for extended range was proposed for the Valmiki but was never approved.

Though not always at the forefront of CMDR Arox Leonski’s fleet, the Valmiki is a priority-ship for farming missions and data collection.
