The PFV Bravura (formerly know as the Campanella) is a custom kitted B-Rank light frigate Python named from the old Earth Italian word meaning 'skilled' and/or 'bravery'. She was built with a balance of combat, cargo transport, and exploration in mind, and outfitted to meet or exceed Pilot's Federation standards for medium-range solo covert operations.

Built in March 3185, she went through several owners and configurations before the Pilot's Federation's IntraGalactic Naval Intelligence Services (I.G.N.I.S.) acquired her rusting away in Ohm City of the LHS 20 System on January 30, 3300 at a discounted price due to her condition. Prior to acquisition, she was know as the Stellar Envoy and served as a consular ship for both Imperial and Federation ambassadors. After much needed love and repairs, they gave her the prefix 'PFV', her hull classification registry 'FFL-1230' and her new name: Campanella; named after the deuteragonist of the same name from the novel 'Night on the Galactic Railroad'. After her refit, she has been given new life and began service February 1, 3300 under the command of CMDR Nyx Praga until February 2, 3303 where CMND Nyx was promoted and transferred to command a newly acquired Federal Corvette, the PFV Gungnir (FFH-5931) in the 502nd Squadron. She was then transferred to a newly formed 626th "Wild Wyverns" Squadron at the time under the command of CMDR Dynahi Khavu as the squadron's temporary flagship while awaiting a pending approval for a new Anaconda to undergo its trials and into active service under the squadron.

On Ferbruary 8, 3303, she was badly damaged and rendered inoperable in a dogfight with Imperial Inquisitors in an Imperial Cutter during a covert acquisition operation in the Coalsack Region. All crew members of the PFV Campanella survived via escaping in the Campanella's escape pods before being picked up in one of the Pilot's Federation's many Fer-de-Lances, the PFV Haribon (PG-1985-D), who was also responding to the Campanella's request for reinforcements. Already damaged by the Campanella, the Inquisitors and their ship were destroyed after CMDR Maela Asuragi in the Haribon finished off the Imperial Cutter that was carrying the Inquisitors. Although the Campanella was nearly destroyed and left inoperable, the mission was nonetheless deemed successful. A salvage crew was then sent to retrieve the stricken ship and bring her back to Neto for major repairs. The surviving crew were transferred to a newly acquired Anaconda, the PFV Longinus (FFH-2300), as her active crew. After her repairs , refit and a short trial period, she, along with the rest of the ships of the 626th Squadron, were ordered to the Sol System to the M.Gorbachev station as her new port of call to begin operations for the Pilot's Federation in the area with CMDR Caroline Jung put in charge as her newly assigned pilot and her new name: Bravura; after her ordeal within the Coalsack Region.

In terms of equipment, she was armed with three overcharged class-3 gimballed multi-cannons and two overcharged class-2 gimballed beam cannons engineered by Tod McQuinn as part of her refit, and more than capable of damaging and/or destroying enemy ships. She is also equipped with hull reinforcement packages and Elvira Martuuk Engineer-tuned shields for increased survival rate in combat. In addition, she is outfitted an Elvira Martuuk Engineer-tuned FSD for increased jumps from 17.83ly with fully loaded cargo holds to 21lys per jump with no cargo. She also carries two Scarab ground vehicles in her SRV bay for ground exploration when the mission demands it. Finally, a specialized, custom ship kit has been fitted to give her a sleeker appearance and better aerodynamics on planets with an atmosphere, while also making her slightly larger than a standard Python.
