Description
Named after the 1995 incident when then Canadian Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien, armed himself with a stone Inuit statue when he and his wife discovered an intruder in their home.

The Hammer, like the HMCS Ours Polaire is built for high skill one-on-one combat dogfights. Sporting plasma accelerators and rail guns it is intended to disable ships quickly. Originally intended as an anti-xeno ship Bach refit the Hammer because he did not enjoy flying the Fer-de-Lance as much as the Chieftain.
