Ship details

Bach acquired the HMCS Thanatos shortly after his promotion to Rear Admiral in the 87th Naval Fleet. It is designed for large scale engagements but not well suited for prolonged one-on-one dogfights. The HMCS Thanatos is equipped with two medium size beam lasers, two small multi-cannons, two huge multi-cannons and a rail gun. The ship is also equipped with a ship launched fighter bay with full compliments of Taipans.

The ship is intended for high intensity large combat scenarios. Not only does it have a robust prismatic shield generator, if the shields do go down, the amount of hull reinforcement and engineering done to the main hull insures that she can hold her own and continue the fight even during the prolonged time it takes for prismatic shields to come back online.

Like with the HMCS Ursus Arctos Ariyah Rollins often accompanies Bach as a crew member aboard the HMCS Thanatos. She typically flies the Taipan as an escort during combat.
