Description
'Continentis' is the Latin word for container, which reflects this ship as a large capacity rock-surface miner.

In August 2021, the original Cutter and flag ship Constantinople, was temporarily used to replace Itermercator (Type-9) for surface mining. After using the Cutter for mining, I broke a tradition of having 22 unique ships and bought this ship: Continentis - as a dedicated mining Cutter.

This ship has the same utilities and almost the same core internal modules as Constantinople. The differences being clean drive engines and armoured powerplant on Continentis, making it more suited for mining.

For hardpoints, Continentis has a very rare ultra engineered class 1 with 3x standard class 2 mining lasers and decent firepower from 3 beam lasers. The ship uses 9 collector limpets, 10 slot refinery and 512T of cargo.

In November 2021, the ships shield was upgraded to a 6A Prismatic Shield Generator. Giving an increase from 2,392 MJ to 3,578 MJ.
