Anaconda outfitted and engineered to be able to be used as a long-range, deep-space explorer as well as being equipped to fulfil refeuling and hull repair operations.

It's long range belies its capacity to hold its own, both defensively and offensively. Equipped with a battery of seven turret-mounted auto-tracking pulse lasers and one huge gimbal-mounted pulse laser it has a nasty bite to hold off smaller vessels and disrupt the tactical manoeuvres of the assailant. Complemented by several defensive modules the enemy will not take down this vessel at their leisure.

The name is derived from its duty as a Fuel Rat Rig, Protium being the most common isotope of hydrogen, the fuel all starships power their fusion plants with.
It is generous with this bounty.
