My Exploration Imperial Courier. Started on out of the wish to have an exploration ship that had superb super-cruise handling, since that's where you spend 99% of the time while exploring.
Engineering the Frame Shift Drive for greater range and reducing the heat generated by the power plant allowed me to make this a viable build.

Phillipides' name comes from the ancient Greece courier of the same name.
After the resounding victory of the Athenian army at the nearby city of Marathon, Phillippides the courier was dispatched back to Athens to inform it of this victory.
He ran all the way to Athens, entered the acropolis (main square) and shouted "We have won! We have won!". He then subsequently dropped dead.
This is the reason the running events are 42 kilometres (~26 miles); this is the distance between Marathon and Athens. It also is why they are called Marathons in the first place.
