The-Ash-Bite is the Cryo Commanders Racing ship that was a publicity stunt by the Cryo Commanders to get more recruits. This ship has won 4 races in its class. This ship ended up helping the cryo commanders a lot more than they planned. After Its second race they had a 130% recruitment increase. The ship and its pilot Dom Plin have become very popular in the
region and the cryo commanders are planning to bring another racing ship into their fleet Within the next month. This ship is planned to be in many more races in the upcoming months. This ship was originally an escort ship as with most of the Cryo Commanders Ship they are repurpose or bought as scrap and then rebuilt. This ship was pulled from its escort duties and was outfiting with Enhanced Performance Thrusters, a smaller fuel tank and a lightweight shield generator and all other internals were stripped out to save weight. Commander Dom Artst Plin is 23 years old and was born on Gooch Orbital in the Koirada system and has been with the cryo Commanders for 2 years now. After graduating high school he started as a Dock worker at Gooch Orbital in the Koirada system. After 2 years of working the docks he went to flight school to be a commander and pilot. After finishing flight school he sold everything he had at Gooch Orbital and got himself a vulture and started carrying out combat bounties. After some time he ended up in luyen’s star at ashby city waiting on repairs to his vulture and ended up in Commaders Bar. He saw a young commander in a blue flight suit with a name badge “Ashly Glax” Don Came up and offered her a drink. After talking for an hour he made a bet for 2 million credits with her that she couldn't out run his vulture in her anaconda. She agreed and they went to the shipyard to get their ships. Dons vulture was still having repairs done but took the ship anyway and went to the ring of luten’s star 1 to meet Ashley. After starting the race Don was in the lead when one of his vulture main engines malfunctioned and burst into flames. Don made it to the finish with one truster and won the bet. After limping back to the station Ahsly paid him the 2 million and told him he should join the cryo commanders “we could use someone with your balls” she gave him a concat number for Eathen Jones the founder and owner of the cryo commanders. He called the next day and requested to join. He had to go through the recruitment process and after he finished he was sent to station defence Tactical “SDT” a joint group with station security. after a year with the SDT he was approached by Ethen to take the new racing ship after ashly had told him the story of there bar bet and said “you might like to fly something faster than your vulturer” he accepted because of better pay and getting to race the fastest ship in the Cryo Commanders fleet.
